Note: I installed the same version DraftSight 2017 SP2 in two Windows 10 versions ( desktop and laptop ) ; in my laptop everything works fine, but in my desktop it was continue to ask me for activation and then disappears. I already tried workaround such as delete AppData/Roaming/DraftSight and/or regedit removal of SWActivation but it not worked. Follow solution it's a workaround I found myself, I don't know why, but it works. Seems that in some situation Draftsight creates a Ready key but not the others needed for the startup.
Workaround:
- open regedit
- go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SWActivation\K2
- if so, create two new String Value key ( right click ) and set the data value the same as for the Ready string key ; these key names are:
- Software/office/editor/versionII/Green
- Software/office/editor/versionII/Loop
